More on Fertility Services and IUI:

We review your charting and what has and has not worked for you in the past, I work with several providers in the medical community model for many of those that want both types of care. I currently provide IUI (insemination) in your home as a procedure. Please contact me to set up a time for the procedure (so that I may send over my forms). As a midwife, I have been trained in reproductive anatomy and gynecological health, and I have the skills needed to provide intrauterine insemination (IUI).  I provide this service in the comfort of your own home. When you are conceiving via donor insemination, IUI is only one small part of the full picture.  Preconception care with a midwife will address the correct timing for your IUIs, and it will ensure that your body is as fertile as it can be so that the inseminations are more likely to be successful.  Preconception care also allows for you to have a knowledgable and experienced practitioner to ask questions regarding choosing a donor from a sperm bank, working with a known donor, whether you or or partner should conceive, and a whole range of other questions and concerns that come up in the process of preparing for pregnancy. My clients use allopathic (modern medicine) and herbal and "alternative" treatments alike and in different ratios, often simultaneously (shots, acupuncture, etc) and I find that healing through nutrition and understanding our bodies is a big part of this!
